The Roseland offers secluded coves, delightful creeks, pretty villages, some great fishing and tranquil beaches. Veryan is a delightful village, famous for its five Round Houses and situated in an ideal position to explore the whole of Cornwall. The nearby beaches of Carne & Pendower are unspoilt, sandy and very safe for children to swim. When the tide is out it is just one long beach.

Walking along the coastal footpaths is spectacular whilst the walks a little inland also provide stunning and beautiful scenery.

The nearby beaches of Carne & Pendower are unspoilt, sandy and very safe for children to swim and when the tide is out it is just one long beach.

Lands End is about 50 miles to the west and Plymouth is about 50 miles to the east. Newquay (and airport) is about 22 miles to the north, the city of Truro is 12 miles away and St Mawes just 8 miles.
